I'm on holiday with family and don't have access to a PC. My mom had her WeaKnees upgraded DirectTV R10 unit knocked out by a lightning strike, and wants me to move the upgraded B drive to another R10. If I just move the drive physically over without formatting and reblessing the drive, will it work?
If not, I can take the drive back home with me and format it and bless it using my PC at home. She does have a Mac here, but as far as I can tell that isn't going to do much good.
