Remote Scheduling

DirectTV is promoting upgrades to the software with Tivo that will allow remote scheduling of shows via the Internet. It would seem that this would only be available for units based on the Tivo OS -- i.e. the HR10 and R10. Does this make sense? Are all of the HR20 new users simply out of luck?

We expect that the HR20 will get remote scheduling as well. You will likely log into DIRECTV's website to program and the selections will likely be sent to your unit via satellite.
