Undocumented Controller Features

TiVo2 controls could be programmed using the sequence
select-play-select-3-0-select to enable the advance button
to skip 30 seconds ahead each time that is is depressed.
I can't find a similar capability on my TiVo3 HD controller.
Does it exist and are there any other useful undocumented
controller features?

My Tivo 3 works fine with that sequence. You just need to remeber to reset it if the Tivo (2 or 3) reboots or gets power cycled.
