Ethernet AND Wireless?

I had two Series 2 units with MRV through wired ethernet using dial up to TiVo. I now have two HD units, connected to a wireless home network. Since MRV has been activated for HD, I have found that transferring HD recordings through the wireless network is PAINFULLY slow. Would it be possible (and faster) to connect the two HD units with the ethernet cable for MRV, while still maintaining the wireless network for other functions?

I don't think you can do both - you'd have to manually switch back and forth, as far as I can tell.
