No Live Video

I have a series 2 Tivo model TCD24004a that I added a second harddrive to. It has been running fine but the original harddrive died so I removed it and re-setup the system with just the newer harddrive.

I didn't have any problems with the setup but now I can't get any video when the Tivo is on. If the unit is off or in standby video passes through just fine. I tried setting it up with all 3 video types(RF, composite, s-video) but none of them worked.

Any ideas as to why I'm not getting video while my Tivo unit is on?

During Guided Setup, you have to choose the video input source, and you have to confirm it when you see it in the background. Try running Guided Setup again and be careful on that step to get it set properly.

that's the problem. I don't see any video in the background from any of those sources even though to the right of it, the system confirms it is receiving a signal

You might try proceeding through guided setup and see what happens. We have seen some cases in which, after setup, the TiVo does work, so long as you select the proper input during setup.
