Cablevision IO dvrs--have users expanded successfully?

I have read through the various posts in this forum, and am interested in expanding storage on my Optimum IO dvr from Cablevision (Scientific 8300HD). I am curious if anyone has done this successfully using the WK drives, and whether this pixellation issue has been resolved?

We've sold lots and lots of these, and they're largely great. I think that the posters here are the ones with the problems - for the customers who don't have problems, no reason to post . . .
