The unit was working fine, now no video.
The cable is hooked into the TIVO and then the TIVO to the TV.
When I switch to the TV, I can see the cable fine, so the signal is passing through the TIVO ok. Also I can watch shows on the TV that were previously recorded on the TIVO, so it SEEMS something is no longer connected inside the box. Any ideas? Thank you,

Pretty strange. If you see cable, it has to go through the TiVo. If you see TiVo menus and previous programs, the TiVo part seems to be working.
Have you tried just rebooting?

I tried powering down for hours before rebooting.
It is killing me because it worked before.
All wires are tight.
I can see the cable just fine through the TV, but the TIVO can't "see it",
but the signal is passing through fine.

Do you have a cable box? If so, you can go through guided setup and avoid using the TiVo's internal tuner.

I will try tonight to make the change since I know the cable tuner definitely is working.
At which point during the guided setup do I make the choice and what is the choice? Will I see the video in the background if I make the right choice?
Thank you very much.

It'll ask you to confirm that you see video in the background at the right screen. Just read each screen completely and you can't miss it.

I'm not seeing any video at all. I've gone through the "Video Hookup" sequence in the "Video Settings" section a couple of times. Each time I click on "No, I can't see any video", but then the system doesn't offer any other solutions. I've gone through Guided Set up a couple of times. I've switched from using the red/white/yellow cables to a coaxial cable to connect the cable box to the Tivo. The system screen still says "program source: ERROR," and I have no picture. I called Humax tech support, but they wouldn't help because I bought it from Weaknees.
Arghh! I don't know what else to do. Any advice or suggestions?

You should probably give us a call, but just to be sure, if you connect those cables to the TV, do you see video on the TV, without the TiVo in the mix?

I have definitely been able to see video using just the TV and the cable box, but I'm not positive about exactly which cables I was using at the time. I'll check on that part of it tonight. If that doesn't work, I'll be a-calling.

24/7 here. Try us on Christmas!
Or: if we're near a computer, we compulsively help with TiVos.
