what are the symptoms of a HDMI board failure? I've got limited colors but still have full audio. If not a HDMI failure, what else could it be? That satellite company sent me a new HR-20, but it will not even set up correctly! I want my HR 10-250 back!

If you're getting a posterized look, that's usually HDMI failure. Essentially, the color spectrum is reduced to larger steps. Kind of a neat look for a few minutes, but totally unwatchable for TV.

If by "posterized' you mean it's a couple of colors only and seems vaguely similar to an Apple Ipod ad, yup, that's it. Thanks for the help.
