  • DirecTV HDTV Cable In Splitter??

I just swapped my HR10-250 for an HR21-700 but I am wanting to still use my HR10-250 for a bit longer. To do so, I would either need to split the 2 HD coaxial lines in to 4 (2 for the HR10 and 2 for the HR21)... Can this be done and if so would I need any particular type or model of splitter??

The only way to split directv sat cables is with a SWM multiswitch, which is very expensive. You can find the single-wire multiswitch here:

Which one(s) would work with the 5LNB dish and the HR21-700/HR10-250?

You need the SWM8 on the website. It works with a 5LNB and the HR10-250. HOWEVER, you cannot use this to split a signal into your HR10-250, you can only use it to send one line into your HR21 and have it feed both tuners.

In other words, you can take your 2 lines and have them be 3: 1 for the HR10 and 2 for the HR21.
