New Hard Drive Upgrade after addition of second hard drive

I have a Series 2 Tivo TCD140060 to which I added a Weaknees hard drive four years ago. In other words, I have two hard drives in the Tivo - the original hard drive and an additional hard drive. I would like to now replace the original hard drive, as I have had some issues with the Tivo powering up. Is it possible to just replace the original hard drive and keep the second hard drive? Will I have to replace both drives, or should I just replace both drives with a single hard drive?

I have Lifetime service, so would like to keep this Tivo going as long as possible!

Especially if you're having issues, you should really replace both drives. Look for a replace kit here:
