Stutters

Ever since putting a 1 TB WD HD into my HD Tivo, it frequently stalls when playing a recorded show or stutters when watching live tivo. rebooting always solves it, but i do this nearly every day now. Any suggestions? Is it a drive problem? Or likely something else?

That's almost definitely a drive problem.

Your suspicion is that i would need to replace the drive? Not likely that reformatting or something would make a difference?

Generally, stuttering is really a physical problem.
