PATA or SATA which to use

I want to upgrade to a 750gb but not sure if I should buy a SATA or PATA drive? What is the difference? Which seagate model should I get? I know this has probably been asked before, sorry. dll

You need to get one compatible with your model. The TiVo Series3 and TiVo HD use SATA, all other TiVos use PATA.

If you order a kit from us, it'll have the right type.
