I'd like to use the SWM for my HR21 (I also have 2 older SD boxes in my bedrooms). My question is this, do I really need to purchase the full package (splitter box and power unit)? Can't I simply hook up the power unit directly at the HR21 box?
I don't know what you mean by "full package"...the SWM requires the switch itself and a power supply--and that's how we sell it. That's all you will need, because your older SD boxes will almost certainly have to connect to the legacy ports, so you won't need any additional splitters.
