cant recieve signal

I have been trying to get swm to work and i cant get a satellite signal
I have been following the wiring diagrams with the exception i have a
3 recievers one is a HR21 2nd is hd and 3rd is just standard this leaves
open ports on splitter could this be problem??

No, open ports on a splitter are no big deal. But the standard receiver needs to be SWM compatible.

You should, for troubleshooting, remove the splitter and just try to connect one receiver and get it working. Then add the splitter and the other two. Remember: No b-band converters.
