I just now hooked up my AT9 dish, I bought 1.5 years ago, and have a WB68. I ordered the SWM8 when I found out I can still use an OTA signal and only 1 wire in to a DTV DVR. AM21 on order and DTV is coming soon to do a new install.

No one will answer if the AU9s is actually better than the AT9 dish?

Would it be possible to hook the WB68 into a Legacy Port to achieve the same functionality as using the High Freq Splitters? Or could a 1x4 spliter hook from a Legacy Port to the inputs ofthe WB68 do the same?

Along that same line, When DTV completes the changeover to MP4, won't ALL of my old receivers (HR10 in particular) become obsolete/inoperable?

The dishes are really functionally identical - the newer one is just a bit smaller and more integrated.

You cannot connect the WB68 to the legacy ports on the SWM. Splitters will also not work on the legacy ports.

The HR10 can't see MPEG4 signals, so if/when DTV turns off MPEG2 signals, it won't see anymore HD from your Dish, but it will still see SD, and OTA HD.
    Been here a long time . . .
