Samsung sir s4040r upgrade

I have two samsung dvr one is 40 gb and the other 80 gb, i put the 80 gb with the 40 has mater when i went in to system info to see the upgrade i still only see variable 32 hours i got the 80 gb came out from a Philips dsr 708 but they are both western digital hd can some one tell me where im going wrong.

You cannot add the 80 into the 40 without reprogramming the drive. If you want our help, see:
