Update on my HR21P receivers...

Well everything has been working great on my HR21 Pros, after all the software updates and the guide data finally getting all loaded in.....and all the restarts....damn thing is worse then windows

Too me they seem more stable when you don't power them off(on the remote and the power button on the unit that is) I'm not really sure what powering them off does anyway as they still are running.....

I don't miss my r10's at all, maybe the only thing is the dual buffers...which I don't see why they can't incorporate in to these....

Anyway just wanted to give an update on my experience's with them so far.

I do have them on ups's also.....

We agree that keeping the DIRECTV DVR on 24/7 is the better approach. Powering them off really does very little.

Just another update, everything is still working great, have had zero problems. Have not had to restart either receivers since the original software update. These Pros are very stable receivers!!!

Great - that's the plan for those. Glad the new software is doing the trick!
