Black screen after installing fan and drive

I bought a 160gb harddrive and a replacement fan for my series2 Tivo from weaknees. After following the instructions on install, I carefully plugged everything back up but I don't get a blue screen or any type of setup screen.... just a black screen.

Any suggestions, PLEASE?

Do you get lights on the front of the unit? Could the power supply be disconnected?

Could your TV be set to the wrong input?

i double checked connections and it seems to be okay. i do get a green light on the front of the tivo.

i thought it might have been a harddrive issue (not having software installed, not in master, etc), so i put back my original 80gb drive and i'm having the same black screen problem, however there is a red light that came on an hour later as if it is recording something.

It sounds like a wiring problem from the TiVo to the TV, or possibly that you're watching the TV on the wrong input. Is that possible?
