R10 Hard Drive Swap

I have 2 identical HR10-250 units. Lets call one of them Big and one of them Little. In The Big one I added a 2nd internal hdd, from weaknees, of course. The problem with the big one is that the hdmi output doesn't work. The Little unit has a functioning hdmi output. I am capable of removing the two hdd from the big unit and installing them in the little unit. My question, will this work, what pitfalls if any should i look out for? Thanks for any help with this question.

It'll work, but you'll get a hardware error #51. That's fine - you'll just need to then to do a "clear and delete everything" and then set it up again.
