why is my series 3 warning me it is getting "full"?

i have the 925 hr. SD / 100 hr HD series 3 tivo

currently i have in the "now playing" about 10 hrs of HD stuff and 65 hrs. of SD stuff

so why would i be getting these, "may be deleted to make room" messages already?

any thoughts/help would be appreciated. thanks

That meter doesn't really reset itself at the right time to reflect the larger capacities of today's drives. You shouldn't have any problem with deletions considering the situation.

ah, so you're saying to simply ignore it, and that nothing in fact will be deleted? ok, thanks. (obviously in some future software update they should adjust this particular feature so as not to confuse the faithful). thanks again
