Restart each day

Since I installed the add-a-drive kit, my DirectTivo has been shutting down and restarting. It has happened just before midnight the last two nights in a row, 11:50 almost on the dot tonight.

I was watching a recorded program while both tuners were recording at the same time. Is it likely that I have a drive dying?

That could be a drive dying, but if it happened right when you upgraded, then it's likely that a cable isn't plugged in completely inside. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the internal cables.
