How to activate used DirectTiVo?

I currently have a Phillips DVR and a Hughes (non DVR) on my Direct TV account.
I have ordered a Weaknees upgraded drive and will be installing it in the DVR.
(The installation instructions appear to be self-explanatory).

I will be replacing the Huges NON-DVR with a used DSR708.
It has a card (and I have a spare) but how do I find the info like "Equipment ID number, etc. that Direct TV will require to activate the replacement receiver?:confused:

Everything you need should be in the System Information screen inside Messages and Setup.

The second unit is for my kids and I imagine I'll have to upgrade it before long also.:rolleyes:
