Coax wires from multiswitch to dtv HD receivers...

Just curious....when I upgrade to HD with my DTV service...are the same coax wires used from the multiswitch to the receivers? or are different types of wires needed? Also, is the same multiswitch used, or does that need to be upgraded? Dish?
