Still "Powering Up" after new drive

OK - that all checks out here. So you may have a bad power supply (about 2% of the time, those symptoms turn out to be a bad power supply) or the drive or a part may be faulty.

Could have been a connector issue with the adapter.

When I took out the drive I took off the small PC board adapter and it came off too easily. So I exposed more doublestick tape and reinserted adapter and reinstalled everything but now nothing works, no power, light or drive sound. Dead! Do I need to install a new power supply AND return the drive or just get the power supply from you guys??

Probably, you just need a new power supply. My guess is that the old drive died also. We frequently see both parts go out at once. Most likely, the failing power supply blitzed the drive on its way out.
