Hardware conversion

I had an upgrade to my HDVR2 and the DVR died. I bought a new Series 2 DVR, but it's a SD-DVR40. Can I switch my upgraded drive from one to the other? I tried just moving it over, but the SD-DVR40 doesn't recognize the additional memory.

You need to format the drive for the new unit:

It's a website . . . you need to fill out lots of parameters.
