blinking lights blank screen

TiVo model TCD240080 completely froze. After rebooting all I get is a blue screen and the red and green light are blinking. I have replaced the power supply so I know that is not the problem. Any other ideas?

Have you tested the drive? Have you tried booting it without a drive?

No, I am a little novice to try that. I think I can manage to try to boot it without the drive - just disconnect it... right?!?

Yup - just disconnect the two cables going to it.
