  • Might have screwed up

I think I may have screwed up (which probably means that I am).....I've been following the interactive instructions for upgrading/replacing the drive on my TDC540040 with a larger capacity drive.....the new drive's size was correctly recognized, but I entered only the "mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hda" portion of the command line (I have the original Tivo drive in the primary master).......it's now going on this tirade of screeching and beeping, with mostly unintelligible characters fleeting across the screen, with the ocassional "status" character coming up.

I guess my question is, as I did not enter the remainder of the command line after in the "pipe", did I just screw myself?

Any insight/help here would be appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

Thanks for listening folks. Things appear to have worked out.....got it running with the correct command line & started it up this morning....everything appears to be working perfectly.
