I just purchased a 500GB replacement drive for my dead Series2 TiVo (Humax T2500). I assume the WK boys know what version I want, but if I back up the image and restore it someday, will I automatically receive any updates I may have been sent since the upgrade?
From what I have read, I assume the answer is no... If that is the case, can I request the update from TiVo, or will I be on their s*it list for upgrading the drive?
