R15 Vs HR20 performance issues

I have recently parted ways with my R15 and have gone back to my trusty R10. The reason that I gave up on the R15 was that I could not get it to discriminate between first runs and repeats in the playlist. Has anyone had the same experience with the R15? Seems like Directv feels the R15 problem is unique to my box but I have seen other mentions of this occuring in past threads. I would like to get another box and am considering an HD unit. Does anyone know if the HR20 can discriminate between repeats and first runs?

I have the hr20-700 and last spring HEROES came on NBC and scifi, the nbc were new episodes and the sci-fi repeats. I had it on first runs and I had no problems getting only the nbc episodes and not the sci fi ones.

A lot of this has to do with the guide data from DirecTV, which basically getsb better and better. We haven't seen as many Series Link problems with HR20s as we have with R15s.
