S3 HD problems

I am on Cox in RI with Motorola CableCards. Everything was fine but a couple of months ago, I started getting pixelation problems on a set of HD channels (HBO, SHO, AETV, NESN HD and TNTHD) and sometimes BBCA digital channel.

Cox techs have come out and they say that all the levels are fine with no line noise. Is there a known problem with Motorola CableCards and a TiVo S3?

There are no known problems with Motorola CableCards, but that doesn't rule out a problem with yours. The fact that some channels are tuning in better than others is generally indicative or either a signal problem or CableCard malfunction/defect.

The Cox tech replaced one of the cards and the exact same problem was seen.

I've seen multiple bad cards before, but also, how can you be sure that the card he replaced was tuning in the program you were watching?
