  • Which upgrade service?

I have a series one (Philips) stand alone. I upgraded years ago by adding a big 2nd drive. Worked great for about five years but now I have the GSOD. want to send it in to WK but I was wondering if there is any way to save my programs and settings. Thing is, I don't know which drive is bad. Do I sign up for "replacement" or "add"? Does it matter?

    Thanks in advance.

You need a "replace" drive if your unit isn't working. If you want us to try to save your data, you need the $79 service, and you need two drives at least as large as what you currently have. There's no guarantee that we can save the data, and since we attempt it and spend time on it, we do charge the $79 even if we are unsuccessful.
    Been here a long time . . .
