    You'd have to do that part in Windows.

      so now the issue im having is that when i load in Windows i cannot see the drive that contains the backup.

      BIOS can see it, but the drive is not listed in "My Computer."

      Where there a command in linux i should had used to make the drive visable in windows.

        Don't know how to help you there - I'm not a Windows expert. But if it's a regularly formatted drive, it should just show.
        Been here a long time . . .
