Is it possible to play my Windows iTunes music collection via my TiVo?

Definitely. Get TiVo Desktop and you should be able to hook that all up, assuming they're on the same network.

That's one of the very key features of TiVo - to me, anyway. I have a Mac Mini server at my house, and one of the things it does is to just sit and collect my music, and then that music is available on each of my TiVos, and therefore each stereo they're connected to.

I am connected via network, but when I try to share my iTunes folders, I receive the message that the folder does not contain any publishable content. Can you help?

Are they MP3 files, or are they in another format?

The TiVo can only read MP3s, as far as I know.

No, all the music is stored as mpeg-4 audio files, so I guess I'll need to convert everything to mp3. Thanks

Sorry about that. Hopefully some future version will support other formats.

If you have a mac, using DeskTop for MAC.
Publish your iTunes music library and playlists to your TiVo box for playback through your TV and home entertainment system.
