80 GB drive = ? hours?

I replaced my old 40 GB hard drive and upgraded from DSR7000 to DSR 704. Using software version 6.4a I can get "up to 66 hours" of recording time. Is that an appropriate amount? Can I get more? What determines the maximum amount of recording time?

That's pretty much right for an 80 GB drive.

To get more, you need a larger drive.

The max is assuming the highest compression by DirecTV. If DirecTV chooses to compress less (for sports and things) then you get fewer hours.
