  • Changed phone service, no connection

    I have recently changed from my old phone company to a cable company that offered digital service. After the technician left, I checked the tivo to see if it would make a test call, it failed. I have a Sony svr-2000 with an external modem, Is this my problem? Does this not recognize the new digital signal? help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Actually, the external modem should work fine with the digital line. It's the internal modem that would cause the problem.

    Is the external modem from us?

      I found my problem, one of the cables were'nt making a good connection.

      Yes, the modem is from you.
