Are the 5 LNB SWM units known to fail occasionally just out of the box? I took delivery from Weaknees on mine just a week ago.
I had the dish installation almost complete, but had not yet called DTV to add the receiver for service. I was getting good signal on an Acutrac III meter and the H21 receiver signal strength screen when it suddenly lost signal altogether, from all satellites.
Now when I connect the Acutrac III meter directly to the dish I get an "over current" reading and the meter shuts off. When I connect it in pass-through mode, the meter shows the same strong signal no matter where I point the dish. I'm stuck at this point.
