  • Upgraded HD problem

    Ordered upgrade (738104) and installed in HR10-250. Will not allow recording unless I hook up phone line. I don't have one. How do get around it?

    You would need to take the unit to a location with a phone line (even if that location does not have DIRECTV). Let the unit dial in twice (once to get a list of numbers; then to complete the call to the TiVo service)....then you can bring it home and it will work without further calls.
