Transfer programs into a TiVo

I have a non-TiVO unit.

I would buy one, if I can move my favorite programming recorded in that other unit.

My Mom is not very mobile these days. So, changing a DVD or VHS tape is quite a chore for her.

This way, I could record 100 (of her favorite) movies into a TiVo (from my unit), and she can play them back at her convenience.

If your non-TiVo can save the files to a PC in a standard format, then you can use TiVo Desktop Plus to transfer the files to a TiVo (from the PC) on your same network.
