HR10-250 software update after rebuild?

I've just rebuilt my HR10-250 last week from spare parts (new power supply and hard drive) and have essentially a brand-new machine running really old software (3.1..f)

I've done the clear-everything step and the dvr functions have been enabled via multiple phone calls to tivo, but the software hasn't updated yet after almost a week. This old software has the super-slow program guide and no folder support in the Now Playing List so it's pretty annoying.

Does anyone know what schedule Directv usually sends out their software updates? Weekly perhaps?

Should I just be patient for a week or two more...?

I don't know if they really ever send down new software for these units at this point - but if so, it's not as often as weekly. Just make sure it's connected to a phone line so that if it gets the download, it can dial in and authorize it.

(suppose if they never send the update I'll only have to suffer until the new units arrive in early 2011...hopefully...)
