Long Run Issues for SWM system

Looking for a little help, here's what we have:

Main House:
New SWM 5LNB mounted on home, goes to a SWM8 splitter to feed (5) TV within the main house.

Guest House:
Guest house is connected to the main house satellite system thru a 350' run of RG11 from house distribution to guest house sat box.

Issue:
The satellites in the main house work great. The satellite box in the guest house recognizes that it is connected to a SWM system but reads "No Signal".

Previously the customer had a traditional satellite system from DTV and everything worked fine, now with the new SWM system we are not getting a signal to the guest house.

Any ideas?

Get a couple of in-line SWM amps, see:

I'd try putting one where the line leaves the main house and one where it enters the guest house.

Remember the talk channel that SWM uses is very low compared to channels 1-8 that the transponders are transmitted on. Use the $69.00 amp, and like WK-Jeff says you will need one at the main house before the RG-11 leaves the house, you may need the 2nd amplifier with 350 ft of cable. If you dont now you will after the cable gets older. You will need to install the first amp and then look at the signal strengths before adding in the 2nd amp.
