  • when using SWM8 switch must you use a non swm lmb?

Hello, maybe Im off track here, but do you have to use a 4 output lmb when using a swm8 switch? I was told from directv tech support that Id be better off using the sl3 swm lmb with the SWM8 and not the old style lmb. Im trying to connect an international dish with a slimline for hd and philipino channels to 4 H25 box's. Any advice is appreciated.

Right - only one SWM in the installation. Either a SWM LNB or SWM6/16/32. You cannot have both.

How would I hook it up if I used the swm lmb? again its for a slimline and a world dish for international. Also, can I remove the 101 lmb from the world dish because the slimline will provide the 101?

There's no way to integrate the world dish with a SWM LNB. You MUST use a SWM8/16/32 with a non-SWM LNB.
