    Default Which Tivo to use?

I hunted around a bit, but hard to find my specific use case.

My mother just moved into an independent living facility and they have DirecTV in their apartments that is distributed from a central location in HD but no boxes in the units themselves. I have been unable to determine which boxes might work as she will not have cable card or box to use. The person I spoke with at the company that did the install for the building and provides the service, indicated Tivo Premier but if that one works, wouldn't others as well?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, we don't have any more regular TiVo Premieres - only the XL4, which is a bit different, so it may not work.

    Is it Senior TV?

Not sure what Senior TV is. Need to be able to figure out how to try something out with the ability to backtrack if it does not work.
Feel like we have very few options.

    Thanks!

There truly aren't many options in your situation. Sorry.
