Hi, My remote is just under a year old. It is my second remote that has developed the same problem. Currently it has gone through 2 eighteen packs of AA and one smaller pack of lithium batteries. I have tried RF mode and also IR . Both modes kill the batteries within 2 weeks. The light doesn't light up unless i am pressing a button. I have tried global reset and repairing. The batteries will power a flashlight after they fail at powering the remote. I have tried all I know to do and am getting ready to buy Another remote. They are expensive and so are the batteries.
Any ideas ??
