In certain lighting conditions, the Glo remote might illuminate and stay on for no reason, wasting battery power. You can enable or disable the backlight feature using the following simple instructions:

To turn backlighting OFF: Press and hold both the TIVO and THUMBS DOWN buttons until the red activity light blinks three times.

To turn backlighting ON: Press and hold both the TIVO and THUMBS UP buttons until the red activity light blinks three times.
