Are you sure you have everything connected properly? Removing and replacing a drive should not cause the old drive not to work....it sure sounds like a cabling/installation problem. -

Replaced Hard Drive
I've got a couple of old ReplayTV HS-2000 recorders. One was activing up and I ordered/received a new hard drive. Once installing it, the unit would not get past the screen "please wait a few moments." I tried the new hard drive in the ReplayTV unit that was working fine and got the same result. I put the original drive back in and can't get it to work now either. Any ideas?
