You've got two problems here.
-You can't put three or four sets of partitions on one drive - so you've got two on the original drive and one or two on the second drive, so you'd be putting three or four on the new drive (and trying to add a fourth or fifth) which you can't do. The error you get is inaccurate, but that's what it reports in this situation.

Error message while using MFSTools 2.0 via Interactive Upgrade
Hi folks,
I am trying to upgrade my DTivo Series one hard drives (2 80Gb hard drives) to a single 400 Gb hard drive using your upgrading system. This box originally came with a 30 gb and and 15 gb and I've upgraded it once before using MFS1.1.
I typed in the instructions as indicated. It scanned the drives. It says that the drive size is 39 hours upgraded to 78 hours and upgraded to 174 hours. Uncompressed backup size is 150115 mb.
Restore failed:backup not large enough for entire backup itself.

I read on another thread that to try mfsadd command which I did before the mfsrestore command.
I know that there was a size restriction (under 137 gb) on software not using the LBA48A kernel? Is that my problem? Should i update the kernel on the old drives then try to copy over the new drive?
If it is something that can't be done using the 400 hd? Can I use two 120 GB without using the CD because I would need an additional IDE host?
