    Any suggestions for doing a local diagnostic or troubleshooting?

    May need to return unit for a look. Unit cannot display programming properly when it is recording (pixelation/macroblocking, frequent pauses - as if it does not have enough cycles to record and play recorded programming at the same time). Have not been able to record an entire show for a while. Input signal OK. Configuration being used is as it came in the package. I have not added any external drives or Cable Cards. I use one input for on-air recording with an HD antenna. Haven't recorded on this antenna in about 6 months. The other input is connected directly to Comcast cable service (non-digital) without a cable box. I have done an input power check and there does not seem to be any problem.

    Besides the above-mentioned problems, the unit also resets/reboots a lot when viewing recorded programming while recording another program.

    We should take a look - sounds like it may be hard drive failure or something related.
    Been here a long time . . .
