I've had a Samsung S4040 DVR for some time now and it's worked fine. Over the past 2 weeks, we've started seeing the following behavior. It's occured about 7 times in 2 weeks:

Blank screen when we turn on the TV and no response to the DVR remote ( no red blink on the receiver). In every case after a hard reset (unplug, replug), it powers up fine. Once it happened while the TV was on. Again, it powered up fine and works fine after a reset.

What could be causing this? Thanks, Bonnie
