Series 3 vs Hughes HDVR2

I am currently with DTV with Hughes HDVR2. I am thinking of switching to Cablevision with a Series 3 Tivo. How do they compare, look and feel, are the faetures the same. I have tried Cablevision DVR at a friends house and did not like it. I like the features of Tivo, Season pass, "FOLDERS".

Also with 2 units and 4 Cable cards can I watch a show on either box via HMO/MRV

The Series3 essentially has everything the HDVR2 has, plus a ton more since it has networking features (TiVoToGo, Amazon Unbox, streaming MP3s, online scheduling, etc.).

Yes, with two units and a network and four cards, you can record four shows at once, and watch them where you'd like.
