My Humax Tivo fell and now the front panel does not work. The system boots up, and I can use the button on the left to play recorded programs, and the machine is recording shows that have already been programmed. But the front panel light does not light up, and the TIVO button does not respond. None of the remote buttons affect the machine.

The DVD player that's part of the front panel is also dead -- eject button does not open the door.

Any idea how I can fix this? I've checked all the connections, they seem tight.
